Sloboden leave Hurdha with a 4-0 loss after a dominant display by the hosts Studenichan. With this result the Robins’ winning streak finally ends, whilst the Lions continue their winning streak at home.
The first half began with a strong start from Studenichan, with the Lions pushing for an early goal. This did leave them exposed on multiple occasions, however Sloboden’s attack just could not threaten their goalkeeper.
Eventually, the hosts would find themselves up 1-0 through a header from Muzafer Ejupi. The momentum would stay with Studenichan, however Stojanche Kolev came close to equalizing it for the Robins.
By the half hour mark, a cross would find its way to Studenichan attacker Fati Jusufi who would make the score 2-0. The Lions wouldn’t need to wait much longer for their third, as after getting a penalty near the end of the first half, Jusufi would tuck it in for 3-0.
The second half began much the same way as it ended, with plenty of chances for Studenichan to close out the game. Fortunately the Sloboden defense had got its act together by this point and did a decent job of keeping the Lions at bay.
Unfortunately for them, a free kick just outside the box would be handily dealt with by defender and Studenichan Manager Bujamin Asani. Sloboden’s players protested the goal since the wall was pushed aside by a Studenichan player, however the referee did not want to change his decision.
The poor officiating would continue as many of the challenges that were thrown onto the Robins were not punished, but eventually Omer Shabani would be shown a yellow card. Not much would happened from there and the game ended 4-0.
A deserved victory for the hosts who were the better side today. The Robins could and should have done more today, but we can only put this match behind us and go on. Although he would end up having 4 goals pass him, Boban Avramoski did well when necessary and gets our man of the match.
Up next, Pobeda Dolno Lisiche at home!
