After spending the entire winter preparing, Sloboden got back to winning ways in the 4.MFL Kisela Voda with a 5-0 win over Drachevo based side SSK Mladinec. The game was meant to be played out in SSK’s stadium, however as the pitch there was being relayed, the game took place in Dolno Lisiche.
The game got off to a very dominant start from the Robins as after a 10th minute corner, Andrej Najdovski was able to find the back of the net. This dominance would only continue as Redjep Bislim would then get it in for two after a fumble from former Sloboden goalkeeper Boris Lukanovski. As if salt wasn’t being rubbed across the wounds of SSK, Gjorgji Malov would then spill toxic acid onto said wounds as he scored two in only four minutes to make the score 4-0.
Controversially though, half time was then called several minutes earlier, drawing many courteous comments from our players towards the referee.
The second half would begin in the same way, with Sloboden’s attack getting to experience most of the ongoing action. This saw substitute Petar Petrushevski get on the foot of a Filip Kostovski cross and take the score up to 5-0.
It was at this point that Sloboden slowed down and SSK finally saw some chances, however the defense was able to deal with all of them, and the rest were shut out by Boban Avramoski. What followed was wasteful chance after wasteful chance, with the highlight being the entire squad’s ultimately failed attempt to give Nikola Minovski a goal.
And with that, the game would end. At the end of the day, a win is a win. However many of the players leave with a sour taste as they could’ve and should’ve gotten more. The man of the match for today’s game was Gjorgji Malov whose two goals today put the game to bed.
