Sloboden will be participating in a friendly tournament hosted by Junior to celebrate their 40 year anniversary since founding the club. The tournament will consist of four teams, of which the other two are Rechica and Ran Proizvod.
FK Junior are a club based in the town of Dobroshane and will be the the hosts of the tournament. They compete in the 4.MFL Kumanovo and sit atop Group A.
They had won their group last season however they would then lose out to Pchinja to decide the overall winner of the league and a play-off spot for the 3.MFL North.
FK Rechica is based in the town of Rechica just north of Kumanovo. They compete in the 4.MFL Kumanovo within Group B and are currently in third place as of writing.
Rechica have competed in the 3.MFL North as recently as the 2020-21 season, but their mostly known for their women’s side that competes in the 1.WMFL.
FK Ran Proizvod are the third and final team that will compete in the tournament. They are based in the town of Studena Bara and compete in the 4.MFL Kumanovo within Group A.
They’re currently placed in fourth spot and share a fierce rivalry with their neighboring side Pchinja.
The tournament will be played out from 9th to the 10th of March, with Junior starting off the tournament against Ran Proizvod and Sloboden facing off Rechica. The winner from those matches will then play in the final on Sunday.
