Sloboden leave Indjikovo with a win after managing to dispatch the local side 5:2, thanks in part to goals from Gjorgji Malov, Nikola Bosheski, Redjep Bislim, and a brace from youngster Petar Petrushevski.

The first half started fairly evenly with both teams exchanging chances. Sloboden were caught offside on a fair amount of occasions, but as the 20th minute arrived, Filip Kostovski was able to get his way up the pitch and cross it towards the foot of Gjorgji Malov who got the Robins up to 0:1.

The goal startled the hosts as the momentum swung in favor of Sloboden for the next couple of minutes, leading to the Indjikovo goalkeeper making a mistake by leaving his box to chase after Nikola Bosheski, and subsequently being punished as Sloboden made it 0-2.

Quickly after that, the Sloboden defence gave away a penalty after a reckless tackle. The first attempt went in, however, the referee called it back after an Indjikovo player infringed on the box before the penalty was taken. The second attempt was saved by our new number one Boban Avramoski.

Just a few minutes later, Redjep Bislim caught the goalkeeper off his line and scored from a fair distance. The ball leaped above the keeper and into the net and he made it look easier than it was. However, just as the first half was coming to a close, Indjikovo got one back, and the first half would end at 1-3 for Sloboden.

The second half saw Sloboden dominate, but the ball just didn’t seem to want to end up in the back of the net. It was evident that the substitutes were eager to leave their mark on this thrilling encounter. Stojanche Kolev passed it to Petar Petrushevski, who fired a rocket into the net to get the score up to 1:4.

More opportunities followed for the Robins but profligacy has crept in, giving a chance for the hosts to get back into the game. Eventually, Indjikovo would reduce the deficit to 2:4, but Petrushevski would quickly respond with another to get his brace and restore Sloboden’s three-goal advantage.

And that is how the game would end, a win for the Robins, but it could’ve and should’ve been a bigger margin. Man of the Match most certainly goes to Petar Petrushevski, who put in a stellar performance after coming off the bench, and we hope to see more from him as time goes on.
